In the North Brabant East concession, Arriva is expanding its fleet with 64 new electric buses from VDL Bus & Coach. Arriva is thus responding to the target set by the province of North Brabant of emission-free public transport by 2030.

After more than 34 years of service with VDL Groep, Jan Mooren (65) will retire on 1 January 2023.

2021 was a hectic year for VDL Groep. External factors caused substantial turbulence. Marjan van Loon will join the Supervisory Board of VDL Groep on 1 February 2022. Immediately after graduating in Chemical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, Van Loon (1965) started working for Shell in 1989. Since 1 January 2016, she has held the position of CEO of Shell Netherlands at this multinational.
